Yardage Estimates

Our yardage estimates are based on a solid color 54” wide fabric without any defects. Your yardage requirements will be affected the size of the repeat, print, and pattern. You can refer to the chart below to determine the amount of COM (Customer’s Own Material) yardage which will be needed. This chart is intended as a guide and is accurate for the majority of COM yardage requirements. Fabric that has an irregular layout or requires an alternative method of cutting may require additional yardage. 

Please clearly mark the buyer’s name on the outside of the fabric package. St. Matthews Trim & Upholstery will schedule COM orders once we have received the fabric in our store. We will use our best judgement to apply the COM fabric if special instructions are not included in the order.

At St. Matthews Trim & Upholstery, we are not responsible for fabric defects, color variations, or other issues in COM fabric. Please inspect any and all fabrics before turning them over to our store. Only the customer is responsible for ensuring that COM fabrics comply with local regulations and fire codes.
